Please follow these instructions closely...

1. Remove the bandage in 2 to 4 hours. Gently wash your new tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap. DO NOT SCRUB THE TATTOO WITH ANYTHING ABRASIVE!!! Gently blot dry with a clean towel.

2. Apply either Lubriderm, Curel, or similar neutral, non-perfumed body lotion to the tattoo throughout the day, especially when it appears dry. A new tattoo should never appear wet or gooey. DO NOT OVER MOISTURIZE... TOO MUCH LOTION CAN DAMAGE A NEW TATTOO!!!

3. Wash your tattoo daily, especially after work outs. It is ok to shower or bathe, but do not soak the tattoo. DO NOT GO INTO SALT, CHLORINATED, OR FRESH WATER FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS!!! Your new tattoo must be fully healed before swimming.

4. DO NOT EXPOSE TATTOO TO DIRECT SUN FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS!!! After it has healed avoid direct sun on your tattoo to prevent color fading and line clarity. If sun cannot be avoided apply a good sun block to the tattoo first.

5. Your new tattoo may peel slightly during the healing process, and itch slightly like a sunburn. This is normal. DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH< OR BE OVERLY FUSSY WITH IT!!! The best thing to do is to leave it alone and let your skin heal.

6. DO NOT APPLY ANY OINTMENTS OR SALVES OTHER THAN WHAT IS RECOMMENED HERE!!!

7. Cleanliness and oxygen is the best healer for a new tattoo and we do not recommend re-applying a bandage because it deprives oxygen to the tattoo and keeps the area moist. But if you must re-apply a bandage, use a sterile dressing.
